Over the last couple weeks, the phrase rock bottom has surfaced in sessions. Grief. A deep knowing that something needs to change. An urgency to do something yet not knowing exactly what that action is. Or rather, knowing and not trusting.
Do I leave the job, end the relationship, move, travel, step into something unknown???
⌠It feels like blowing up your entire life.
You tell yourself: âI should be grateful for what I have.â
And so you stay in the same loop. The anxiety builds. The pressure keeps mounting.
The panic often shifts into stuckness or outright collapse as you idle at the crossroads between the old self you know youâve outgrown and your true identity that hasnât been born yet.
Your Soul knows how to navigate through these dark turbulent waters, but you either donât hear its voice or donât trust it.
Your head will often try to figure it out. But this is not a job for the mind.
The more you spin in indecision, the more the nervous system dysregulates.
It becomes increasingly harder to see the way.
People donât linger at the crossroads because they donât know who they are.
They linger because theyâre afraid to become who they already know themselves to be.
The deeper work isnât about making the ârightâ decision.
Itâs about whether youâre willing to reclaim the authentic self that was sacrificed for safety or belonging when you were little.
Once that exiled part is reclaimed, the next step often becomes much clearer.
You stop fighting yourself. You start trusting yourself again.
A quiet, steady knowing arrives: âThis is the right step. I trust myself to take it.â
Thatâs what becomes possible.
This is exactly the work we get into together - going to the root of whatâs keeping you from trusting yourself, so the path forward becomes clear.
