The new Complex Menopause Clinic at BC Women’s Hospital is the first of its kind in Western Canada — designed for women and gender-diverse people navigating severe symptoms.
The clinic offers expert care and conducts research that puts your experiences at the centre. People can now schedule both in-person and virtual appointments.
Starting March 2026, BC will also offer free public coverage of hormone replacement therapy to treat menopausal symptoms. This is a significant step toward improving health care for women and gender-diverse people throughout their lifetimes.
