Athlete's foot, itching, oozing skin. After one laser treatment, it improved significantly—no more itching and no more oozing.
Athlete's foot, commonly known as foot fungus, is a common fungal infection of the feet caused by dermatophytes. Symptoms usually include:
1. Dry, rough, peeling skin on the soles and heels, sometimes with cracks and pain.
2. Whitish skin between the toes, maceration, erosion, and oozing.
3. Clear blisters accompanied by itching.
Laser treatment produces immediate results for athlete's foot. We have recommended laser treatment primarily for nails fungal infections rather than athlete's foot itself, mainly due to customers' treatment budgets and practical considerations.
1. Athlete's foot can be treated with topical antifungal creams, whereas laser treatment is relatively expensive.
2. Antifungal creams have very limited effectiveness against nail fungus because they cannot pe*****te the nail to reach the nail bed. Laser treatment, however, can pass through the nail and reach the nail bed directly, producing significant therapeutic results.
