A lot of our insecurities come from old wiring. Maybe you had a critical parent, you were compared to others growing up, or you felt like you had to “be better” to belong. The brain remembers all of that. It’s wired to fear rejection, so even now, your amygdala can misread a normal moment (like speaking up at work) as a threat.
But your brain can learn safety. Self-compassion, small wins, calming your nervous system, and being around people who make you feel safe. These things help rewire those old insecurities
