What if your cravings aren’t evidence that you lack willpower?
It’s late. The day is finally quiet. You’ve taken care of everyone else, finished what needed finishing, and there it is: the chocolate, the salty snack, the little something that feels like the only part of the day that belongs entirely to you. And then comes the guilt.
At Arcanum, we want to ask a different question.
Not simply:
“How do I stop craving this?”
But:
“What am I actually hungry for?”
Sometimes food really is part of the answer. Your body may need more nourishment, more satisfying foods or a different balance of nutrients. But cravings can also show up in a much bigger picture: chronic stress, poor sleep, emotional depletion, habits of self-neglect and years spent putting everyone else first.
That’s why our approach to sustainable weight loss goes beyond another list of foods you’re “allowed” to eat.
This October, Alyson and Jeff at Arcanum Wholistic Clinic are hosting a Weight Loss Program for women who are ready to stop treating cravings as a character flaw and start getting curious about the information behind them.
We’ll explore the physical and emotional patterns that can shape the way you eat, and work toward changes that are actually sustainable. Because sometimes the craving is not the problem. It’s the messenger.
