Blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) can produce toxins that are harmful to pets if they swim in or drink contaminated water.

One curious sniff can quickly turn into a painful sting. 🐝🐾

Late summer is peak season for yellow jackets and wasps, making curious pets more likely to get stung while exploring gardens, parks, and backyards. Most stings cause mild pain and swelling, but some pets can experience a serious allergic reaction with facial swelling, vomiting, difficulty breathing, or collapse.
