We are excited to share some important news about our clinic and the future of your eye care!
After many years of dedicated service to the community, Dr. David Mitchell has sold the practice to Dr. Nav Sodhi. While Dr. Mitchell is beginning a gradual transition toward retirement, we are pleased to share that he will continue seeing patients during this transition period and for the foreseeable future. As part of this change, we
want to reassure you that all patient records will remain secure with our clinic, and you will still continue to see the same familiar team members you know and trust — including Robert and Lou.
We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Mitchell and Associates has rebranded as VanEye, Doctors of Optometry. While our name is changing, we will continue to operate as a locally owned, independent optometry clinic focused on delivering personalized, high-quality eye care to our community.
Another exciting update is we have moved to a modern new clinic at #310 – 997 Seymour Street. Located near Seymour Street and Nelson Street, just a short 5 minute walk from our current clinic.
Our new clinic will allow us to better serve our patients with an expanded optical showroom, enhanced dry eyes services and treatments, state-of-the-art diagnostic technology for the early detection and management of ocular diseases, including macular degeneration and glaucoma and most importantly significantly improved parking options, including street parking at $2.50/hour as well as multiple private lots in the area.
While our name and location are changing, we want to emphasize that we are still the same clinic and the same caring team you have come to know over the years. Our dedication to our patients and our community remains unchanged, and we are excited for this next chapter. We look forward to welcoming you to our new clinic!
