This World Breastfeeding Week, we're celebrating the BC Women's Milk Bank, the longest-running milk bank in Canada.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Milk Bank received a significant upgrade that has strengthened its ability to safely collect, process and distribute life-saving donor milk to the province's most vulnerable babies.

Today, the Milk Bank continues to be a leader in care, providing donor milk to sick and premature newborns at BC Women's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and NICUs across British Columbia, helping countless families over the years.
