I’ve noticed a theme in the clinic lately: as we transition from winter "huddles" to the Vancouver seawall, our bodies are struggling to keep up. I always tell my patients that spring is like a seasonal "oil change" for the body.

I know the lure of the garden center is strong this time of year, but I’m already seeing the "Victoria Day Back" start to walk through my door.

My top tip: Switch which knee you’re kneeling on every 10 minutes. If you’ve already overdone it in the soil, come see me—let’s get your SI joints back in alignment before the next planting session!
