The Bull Runner Run strong. Eat clean. Live well. Daily Inquirer, Southern Living, Style Weekend, and Smart Parenting. As for Jaymie, she continues to run longer and farther.

The Bull Runner (www.thebullrunner.com) was created by Jaymie, a 30-something wife and mother of two who started her blog in May 2007. She wanted to share her newfound passion for running with anyone who cared to listen and to provide race and running-related information to runners like her who didn't know where and how to start. Since then, thebullrunner.com has received hundreds of thousands of hits, bagged the only two awards in the sports category at the 2008 Philippine Blog Awards, and has been on the cover of Runner's World Philippines and Soul BGC and featured in other publications such as Multisport, Men's Health, Preview, Phil. In April 2009, Jaymie launched The Bull Runner Magazine, a free quarterly publication for runners. In 2010, she launched the first and only marathon in the world that caters to first time marathoners: The Bull Runner Dream Marathon. She has run ten marathons: New York City Marathon, Berlin Marathon, London Marathon, Tokyo Marathon, HK Marathon, Singapore Marathon, California International Marathon, Condura Marathon and QC International Marathon. She also finished Ironman 70.3 Cebu in 2012 and 2013.

Almost two weeks after Victoria Marathon and I can finally look back fondly now that I’ve forgotten the pain 🤣 Whether it's your first or your 23rd, it never gets easier... perhaps that's why I love marathons 🤪🥰

What were the chances Nia and I would be standing at the starting line of Victoria Marathon right beside Norman, a TBR alumnus, and his brother Nolimt?!

We had actually been beside each other for over 10 minutes! Then I noticed a guy beside Nia with a bunch of Philippine flags on his shirt. I asked to take a photo, and that’s when I realized it was the two brothers!

What touched me most were their matching caps that read “Continue to Live Life.” ❤️

Norman shared that their father had passed away just a few months ago, and these were the last words he had scribbled on a notepad for his children.

What a beautiful way to honor their dad and carry his words with them through 42km 🥹

So glad our paths crossed at the start and even along the course!

Congratulations, Norman and Nolimt! I’m sure your dad would be so proud. ❤️

She did it! Nia is officially a marathoner! 🥹❤️

I wish I could say this was the greatest mother-daughter bonding experience. But right now, we’re honestly just very, very tired. 😅

There was blood, sweat, cramps, and tears. Quite literally. And all starting as early as Km 25.

It broke my heart to see her struggle, especially when the cramps hit so hard at Km 31 that she was crying in pain. As her mom, all I wanted was to take the pain away😭

But kilometer after kilometer, she kept going. Through the pain, the tears, and the exhaustion, she never lost sight of that finish line.

And I couldn’t have been prouder 🥹 She showed up for herself and proved how brave and strong she could be ❤️

And maybe when our legs stop hurting, Nia and I can laugh at all this and finally call this our greatest mother-daughter bonding experience. 😂❤️

Congratulations Nia! Now let's have our nice dinner and share the best dessert 😘

The day before Victoria Marathon! 🇨🇦

Tomorrow, we take on 42km together. My 22nd marathon, Jim’s 6th, and Nia’s very first! 🥹

Truth be told, this one is really all about Nia. ❤️ Tomorrow, I get to be her pacer, coach, mom, and biggest fan all rolled into one. Let's do this! 🏃🏼‍♀️

Friends since 8. And, somehow, we’re all 50 😳🤣

We celebrated our 50th birthdays in Osaka with no real itinerary, lots of sushi and kamote, sore feet, endless stories, and so much laughter that we were in tears.

We were so lucky to have each other growing up, and even more blessed to grow old together 🥰

Bull Session 1! I'm so proud of Batch 2027, Dreamers! And thankful for our TBR Community of coaches and volunteer pacers ❤️

It's our biggest batch in our 16 year history with 4,500 future marathoners, but the vibe reminded me of our first TBR with only 300 runners in 2010. It felt warm and welcoming 🥰

Excited for the next five months of our Dreamers' journey! Let's do this! 💫
