As part of the College’s transition to its new licensing system, all licensees have been assigned a unique 7-digit CCHPBC licence number.

For naturopathic physicians, this number is different from the 5-digit PharmaNet ID.

• 7-digit CCHPBC licence number: Use for College identification and provide it to insurers, employers and other third-party services that require it.

• 5-digit PharmaNet ID: Continue using this number on all prescriptions and for PharmaNet/PRIME access. If you had a PharmaNet number before September 1, 2026, it remains unchanged.

Effective September 1, 2026, naturopathic physicians enrolling in PRIME will need both numbers.

• The College must provide your information to PharmaNet before you can enrol. This normally takes a few business days.

• You can now download your new CCHPBC licence number card from the Licensee Portal.

What's the difference between a regulatory college and a professional association?

CCHPBC protects the public: we licence health professionals, set and enforce professional standards, investigate complaints and maintain the public registry. We are accountable to the BC Ministry of Health.

Professional associations advocate for the profession and its members through professional development, networking, member benefits and business support.
