We are so thrilled to welcome our amazing new team member at The Qi Station 🎉🎉

Stacey (she/her)

Medical Qi Gong/ Shamanic Chinese Medicine Practitioner

After over two decades of navigating the corporate pharmaceutical landscape Stacey has left the traditional path and decided to follow her heart, and also dive more into this side of her heritage. While she remains aware of the scientific method, she acknowledges that there is much more than what we can perceive with our senses and current objective measurements. Her goal is to support you with an all-encompassing approach to wellness that addresses the interconnected systems that make up your being. She has studied various energetic modalities since 2019 and hopes to serve as a bridge between the Western and the Eastern healing arts.

As a practitioner of Shamanic Chinese Medicine and Medical Qi Gong, Stacey utilizes the ancient "Wu" shamanic knowledge and focuses on clearing stagnant energies to restore the natural flow of life-force energy, or "Qi," which is the basis for true health and vitality. By cultivating the skill of "Gong"—the self-discipline of working with this energy—she aims to empower others to become active participants in their own healing.

Stacey is dedicated to a lifelong journey of transformation, study, and energetic skill development. She offers group or private Qi Gong classes, incorporates exercises into her session work for you after your visit & looks forward to collaborating with you!

Shamanic Chinese Medicine and Medical Qigong represent the re-emergence of a 5,000-year-old healing system that integrates Chinese Energetic Medicine, Qigong, and shamanism. As the oldest of the four branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Medical Qigong provides the energetic foundation for the entire system and was originally practiced by the Wu Yi, shaman-doctors who mediated between the human world and nature to resolve suffering. Today, these practices are used to promote overall well-being; by doing exercises oneself (internal), and by booking a session with a practitioner (external).

Classes

Qigong is defined as the “skillful practice of applying life-force energy”. It is the ancient Chinese system belonging to the science of health preservation that utilizes breathing techniques, mental focus, and body postures to cultivate "Righteous Qi"—the body's natural defensive energy—to protect against stress and illness while maximizing internal strength and longevity.

Classes (Internal) empower you to become a guide for your own self-regulation through "movement as medicine". You will learn specific exercises and meditations that coordinate posture, breath, and mental focus to manage your health. These classes help you bridge the gap between body and mind, maximizing your internal strength and maintaining your body's natural defensive energy against stress and illness.

Session Work
A Medical Qigong session (external) is a comprehensive interaction designed to address the client's physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual needs simultaneously. Clients can expect a session that prioritizes safety, trust, and deep energetic transformation through specific protocols.Clinical Sessions are also intuitive and divinely guided, aimed to identify and address the root cause of an imbalance rather than just addressing symptoms. During a session, various techniques such as Qi Emission, sound therapy, and colour therapy are used to purge, tonify, and regulate your energetic fields. The goal is to clear away stagnant energy and replenish your natural vitality so that your physical, energetic, and mental systems work in unison. A typical 90 min appointment consists of a 15 min initial consultation, 60 min of session and 15 min to debrief.
Clients remain fully clothed and usually lay down but in some cases sit on the massage table. I mostly work off the body in the “Wei Qi” fields around the body, and in some cases on the body along meridians and acupoints. Clients may relax and fall asleep, see visuals, have memories, twitch, experience sensations like tingling or temperature changes, have emotional discharge, or nothing at all. I welcome hearing about your experience, and we can discuss it at the end of the session.

Post-Session Integration and Homework
Clients are advised to sit quietly for a few minutes and are often given warm water or tea to drink.
Homework: Clients are assigned specific Qigong exercises, meditations, or breathing techniques to practice at home to maintain and reinforce the healing initiated during the session.

These two offerings work together to accelerate your personal growth and wellness. The exercises learned in class serve as "movement medicine" that reinforces the work done in our private sessions. Whether you are looking for external restoration or wish to develop your own internal cultivation, you can book a private session or join a Qigong class to begin your journey toward harmony..

Stay tuned for new schedule offerings and please drop us a line if you would love to work with Stacey. We will be creatively exploring the days and times that work best for Stacey, the space & our community ✨️

Welcoming 2026!! ✨️💚💫

Just a little gentle reminder, or heads up;

This potent Wood Snake Year, a time of shedding, transformation, truth revealing and letting go of all old patterns not serving the highest good, is in its last season yet. What a doozie its been!

The Winter Season, Water Element, is the most Yin time of year, inviting stillness, replenishing, resting. A beautiful time for candlelit meditations and nourishing of body & soul. Gentle walks in nature, keeping warm, enjoying harmonious gatherings that feel replenishing and nourishing.

If we're following and embracing this potent shedding of Snake Medicine, we are now in a state of "fresh skin" a little tender and calling for tender care, while allowing care for our inner expansions and fresh skin to settle and nurture.

There is a lot of buzz of excitement for the Fire Horse energy coming in! Understandably! So many of us are yearning to charge forward with this abundant energy. Alas, it is not time just yet 😆...
