🌍✈️ Our Team Travels: Jerred’s South of France Adventure 🇫🇷

Our office manager, Jerred, recently traded the clinic for a couple of weeks in the South of France.

The trip started in the beautiful French wine country, where he had the pleasure of celebrating a wedding surrounded by incredible scenery, great company, and, of course, plenty of wine. 🍷🥂

From there, the adventure continued into the Pyrenees, where he spent time hiking through the mountains and chasing waterfalls. 🏔️💦 A little sweat, a lot of elevation, and some pretty spectacular views made for the perfect change of scenery.

The trip wrapped up along the French coast with some much-needed relaxation, surfing, and soaking up the Mediterranean sunshine. 🌊🏄‍♂️☀️

And naturally, no trip to France would be complete without an unreasonable amount of wine, cheese, fresh bread, and good company. 🧀🥖🍷

Needless to say, he came back refreshed, recharged, and ready to get back to the clinic… although we’re sure a small part of him is still somewhere on the French coast. 🇫🇷

Some work moments are more rewarding and happy than the rest! When you get to see people that you’ve been working with for a lifetime that move away and come back, it’s heartwarming!💖 Today was one of those days! Straight off of his Stanley Park Open win and Vancouver Open wild card Connor Church back in Vancouver for some much deserved “rest” dropped by for care and to say hello! So happy and proud of this young man! Let’s go USC!

Dr Steinhoff our Clinic Director is fresh back from holidays! She’s treating patients in the clinic now! Dr S says “Summer vacation for me over the last 18 years means the Amalfi Coast and Positano. It’s a month to recover, eat a lot, read, day drink, but mostly escape.. It’s truly where I embrace Dolce far Niente and dreaming! It simply energizes and refocuses me! ⚽🇨🇦🇨🇭 A friendly wager has been made at Broadway at Yew!

With Canada taking on Switzerland tomorrow in the World Cup, our chiropractors Dr. Madlaina Gruber and Dr. Steven Piper have decided to make things a little more interesting.

As our resident Swiss supporter, Dr. Gruber is backing Switzerland. Dr. Piper, of course, is cheering on Team Canada. 🍁

Here’s the bet:
👉 If Canada wins, Dr. Gruber has to wear a Team Canada soccer jersey in the clinic for an entire week.
👉 If Switzerland wins, Dr. Piper has to buy a Swiss jersey and wear it in the clinic for a week!

With World Cup excitement taking over Vancouver this month, we’re fully embracing the spirit of the tournament—and while we may have a Swiss chiropractor on staff, we’re cheering for the home team here at Broadway at Yew. 🇨🇦❤️

After a busy start to the year helping patients feel their best, our Registered Massage Therapist and Acupuncturist, Carlos, took some well-deserved time to recharge with a two-week trip to Japan. 🇯🇵

Travel is more than just visiting new places—it’s an opportunity to slow down, gain perspective, and find inspiration. During his time in Japan, Carlos explored peaceful temples and beautiful gardens, relaxed in cozy jazz cafés, and enjoyed some incredible local cuisine.

“It was a wonderful opportunity to recharge and find inspiration.”

Taking time to rest and reset is an important part of overall wellness, and we’re glad Carlos returned feeling refreshed and energized after an unforgettable adventure.
