Healing Through Trauma | Ep 4
📌 SHARE if you know someone dealing with unexplained headaches, jaw tension, head pressure or a sense of emotional overwhelm that won't subside.
In my latest video I explain something that's rarely discussed in mainstream health conversations:
ENDOCRANIAL SPASMS — tension patterns held within the skull, often linked to complex trauma.
There are three distinct types:
TYPE 1 — PHYSICAL SPASM
Result of physical trauma to the head or spine: including birth trauma, accidents, or surgical procedures. These create structural tension patterns that can persist for decades.
TYPE 2 — EMOTIONAL SPASM
When the nervous system is repeatedly overwhelmed and emotional energy has nowhere to go, it can become encoded as physical tension within the cranial tissues. This is the body literally "holding on."
TYPE 3 — TRANSGENERATIONAL SPASM
Perhaps the most profound, these are tension patterns influenced by inherited epigenetic and family system trauma. You can carry the unresolved stress of your ancestors in your own physiology.
I know that sounds extraordinary. But I've lived it. And osteopathy has helped me begin to unwind it.
