Tonume Trivia
Can the weather actually make you sore?
Rain, cold and changing pressure often get blamed when a knee, back or shoulder starts complaining.
But is the weather actually to blame?
Well… maybe. The research is mixed. Some studies find associations between weather and pain, particularly with osteoarthritis, whilst other large reviews find no consistent relationship.
So if your joints seem to have their own weather app, you’re not necessarily imagining it. We just haven’t quite worked out the forecast yet.
