Happy BC Day!

From mountains to oceans, forests to city parks, BC is a place filled with beauty and adventure.

However you’re spending the day — exploring nature, relaxing with loved ones, or discovering a new corner of our province — may it bring joy, fresh air, and a sense of wonder.

FEW SPOTS LEFT!

Join us for a welcoming Shabbat dinner. We’ll share a relaxed meal, song, and conversation in a space where addiction and mental health challenges can be spoken about openly and without judgment.

Gatherings like these help us to form a community of recovery within our community by creating a space which honours both our Jewish identity and our experience with addiction. Whether you yourself have had this experience, know someone who does, or you're an ally who wants to support others in their recovery, you are warmly invited to join us for an evening of good food, meaningful conversation, and connection.

Dinner will be followed 8pm by Temple Sholom's Shabbat Evening Service, followed by dessert.

Register at https://loom.ly/JSKDTIA.

Join us for a welcoming Shabbat dinner with the JACS Vancouver community. We’ll share a relaxed meal, song, and conversation in a space where addiction and mental health challenges can be spoken about openly and without judgment.

Your presence helps break the silence in our community and offers strength to others walking a similar path. All are welcome—individuals, families, and supporters—whether you’re seeking connection, learning, or quiet companionship around the table.

Dinner will be followed 8pm by Temple Sholom's Shabbat Evening Service, followed by dessert.

National Indigenous Peoples Day is a celebration of the vibrant cultures, languages, and traditions of Indigenous peoples across Canada.

It is also an invitation to deepen our relationships through learning, listening, and meaningful action.

Let’s continue working toward a future rooted in respect, reconciliation, and shared understanding — where every community can thrive.

World Elder Abuse Awareness Day reminds us of the important role older adults play in our families, communities, and lives.

Every person deserves to age with dignity, safety, respect, and connection.

By staying informed, reaching out, and supporting one another, we can help build caring communities where older adults feel valued, protected, and empowered.
