Hello Everyone,
Our clinical research team is recruiting participants for a study exploring new treatment options for individuals who use methamphetamine. Participation is entirely voluntary, and compensation is provided.
The study is evaluating whether Vyvanse (a stimulant medication) and/or Contingency Management (a behavioural intervention), in combination with usual substance use treatment, can support individuals who are interested in reducing or stopping their methamphetamine use.
The ASCME Study is led by addiction medicine specialist Dr. Paxton Bach, MD, and is a collaboration between the BC Centre on Substance Use, Providence Health Care, and the University of British Columbia.
If you’d like more information, please visit our websites or contact our Research Coordinator at 236-688-7273 if you’re interested in participating.
