Post-operative swelling is a normal part of tissue healing — but after procedures such as a tummy tuck or liposuction, the lymphatic system may benefit from gentle support as the body works through recovery.

Post-operative lymphatic drainage is a gentle massage therapy treatment designed to:

• Assist lymphatic fluid movement
• Help manage post-surgical swelling and fluid congestion
• Reduce feelings of tightness and heaviness
• Support tissue mobility as healing progresses
• Support the body’s natural recovery process

These photos show the progression after just two post-operative lymphatic drainage sessions.

Post-op care isn't about forcing fluid or aggressively manipulating newly healing tissue. Treatment is adapted to the individual, their stage of healing and their surgeon's recommendations.

Our Tottenham location turns 3️⃣! 🥳

My smile is just as big as it was on day one, but my heart is even fuller. 🤍

Every year brings new connections, lessons, and growth, and we’re so grateful for everyone who has been part of our journey.

This year, we’ve been blessed to welcome two new members to our team: our Osteopathic Practitioner, Jasmine, and our Fascial Stretch Therapist, Tiffany.

We are also beyond grateful for one of our original team members, Gabriella, who has been by Alternative Healing’s side since 2019. 🤍

Spinal fusion can be life-changing for many individuals living with scoliosis, but surgery is often just one chapter of the journey.
And some are not candidates for the surgery.

Many people continue to experience:

Both of us were diagnosed with scoliosis, and one of us underwent spinal fusion surgery.
We know what it's like to sit through appointments, wonder what the future holds, navigate pain and postural changes, and learn how to move with confidence again.
