At our recent AGM, we were proud to recognize Tanuj, Harkit, and Tashy for their incredible contributions to Vitanova over the past five years.

Each of them has played an important role in supporting our clients, strengthening our programs, and carrying forward Vitanova’s mission with compassion, professionalism, and care.

On June 9, 2026, Darryl completed the first official *Steps of Hope* walk, travelling 28.31 km from Richmond Hill to the Toronto waterfront.

This walk was created to raise awareness for addiction recovery, mental health, and to honour those who are still fighting, as well as those we have lost.

For Darryl, this journey was also deeply personal. He walked in memory of his close friend Byron, who passed away from an overdose in 2024. Through pain, heat, fatigue, and nearly 40,000 steps, Darryl kept moving forward with purpose.

His story is a reminder that recovery is possible, healing takes courage, and hope can be carried one step at a time.

We are grateful to Darryl for sharing his journey, and honoured that Vitanova was part of his recovery story.

For those still fighting.
For those we’ve lost.
