Today we’re celebrating someone who means so much to the Vitanova community. ❤️

Anna, our amazing cook, is so much more than the person who prepares meals for our clients. The care, love, and thought she puts into everything she does is felt throughout our entire community.

She is always going above and beyond to make sure our clients feel cared for, welcomed, and at home. From the meals she prepares to the little things she does each day, Anna brings warmth and kindness into our space. 🫶

We are so grateful for everything you do and for the special person you are. Our clients are lucky to have you, and so are we!

Today, the Vitanova team is wearing orange to honour the children who never returned home, Survivors of residential schools, their families, and Indigenous communities across Canada.

Wearing orange is a reminder that Every Child Matters and that reconciliation begins with listening, learning, remembering, and acknowledging the truth of what Indigenous communities have experienced and continue to experience.

At Vitanova, we believe in creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, supported, and valued. Today, we take a moment to reflect, honour, and continue learning about what reconciliation means, not just today, but every day.

In recognition of National Recovery Awareness Month, Vitanova is proud to collaborate with York Regional Police and other community agencies to raise awareness to the challenges of addiction, and emphasize that recovery is possible.
