A stuffy nose might seem like “just allergies” or “just another cold,” but if it keeps coming back or never seems to improve, it’s worth getting to the root of the problem.

As an ENT specialist, I help patients with a wide range of ear, nose, and throat concerns, including:
👃 Chronic nasal congestion and sinus issues
👂 Hearing concerns and recurrent ear infections
🗣️ Hoarseness, voice changes, and swallowing difficulties
😴 Snoring and sleep-related breathing concerns
👶 Ear, nose, and throat conditions in both children and adults

You don’t have to live with symptoms that are affecting your quality of life. There may be treatment options that can help.

To book an appointment with me, you’ll first need a referral from your family physician or nurse practitioner to North ENT Clinic. I look forward to helping you breathe, hear, and feel your best.

One of the most common misconceptions I hear is that an ear infection is simply “an ear full of germs.” In reality, it often starts when the Eustachian tube—which normally drains fluid from the middle ear—becomes blocked, often after a cold, allergies, or another upper respiratory infection.

When that drainage pathway is blocked, fluid can become trapped behind the eardrum. That warm, enclosed space creates an environment where bacteria or viruses can multiply, leading to pressure, pain, reduced hearing, and sometimes fever.

The good news is that not every ear infection requires the same treatment. A proper examination helps determine what’s causing your symptoms and whether observation, medication, or another treatment is the right approach.

If you’re experiencing recurring ear infections, persistent ear pain, hearing changes, or concerns about your ears, I’d be happy to help.

To book an appointment with me at North ENT Clinic, you’ll first need a referral from your family physician or nurse practitioner. Once your referral has been sent, our team will contact you to arrange your consultation. I look forward to helping you find answers and relief.

Nosebleeds can be unsettling, especially when they happen repeatedly. During the summer, dry air, air conditioning, seasonal allergies and nasal irritation can all affect the delicate blood vessels inside the nose.

If a nosebleed occurs, sit upright, lean slightly forward and firmly pinch the soft part of the nose for 15 minutes without releasing the pressure to check. Avoid tilting the head backward, as this can cause blood to run down the throat.

Medical advice is recommended when nosebleeds:

• happen frequently
• are becoming more difficult to stop
• occur alongside unexplained bruising or other bleeding
• begin after an injury
• may be affected by a medical condition or medication

Seek urgent medical attention if the bleeding continues after approximately 20 minutes of continuous pressure, is unusually heavy or is accompanied by dizziness, weakness or difficulty breathing.

Persistent nosebleeds should not simply become something you learn to live with. An assessment can help identify the source of the bleeding and determine whether further treatment is appropriate.

To see me for an ENT assessment at North ENT Clinic in Vaughan, a referral is required from your family physician or nurse practitioner.
