Are you loading your barbell plates the right way? β οΈ
Most people load their plates facing out because it looks cleaner. It's also the dangerous way to do it, and here's why it matters.
When a plate faces out, the only way to grip it is with your thumbs inside the dish. If a thumb slips, the plate drops, and a plate dropping onto your foot is a serious injury. Flip the plate the other way and you can get four fingers inside the dish instead. One finger slips and you still have three more holding it. That could be the difference between a close call and a trip to the ER.
