đź’» Could your desk setup be causing your wrist and elbow pain?
It’s not always typing that’s the problem. Your keyboard height, mouse position, elbow support, and overall posture can put unnecessary stress on your wrists, elbows, and forearms throughout the day.
A few simple changes can help:
Keep elbows close to your body and around 90°
Keep your keyboard and mouse at the same height
Avoid resting your wrists on the desk while working
Take short movement breaks throughout the day
Keep your mouse close and avoid excessive reaching or gripping
If wrist or elbow discomfort has become a daily issue, it may be worth looking at your whole posture and alignment, not just your hands.
At Vernon Chiropractic and Massage, an assessment can help identify where the strain may be coming from and what changes could help.
