For 8 years, Tara Norris has poured her charitable heart and artistic soul into creating the annual spooky Halloween π display outside her home at 528 St. Charles Street in the Rockland neighbourhood. π§ββοΈ
Complete with gargoyles, witches π§ and Uncle Creepy the gravedigger πͺ β°οΈ this year's display theme is "Snakes and Ladders". π πͺ
Seeing how her Halloween displays attract hundreds of visitors each year, Tara decided to act on that visibility by highlighting charities close to her heart and offering a way for visitors to donate.
This year, Tara has chosen to support Foundry Victoria and the *new* Foundry West Shore which is currently in development and will be operated by Thrive Social Services Society. Foundry is a place where youth ages 12-24 in British Columbia and their families can access free and confidential mental health and wellness services.
Visitors can contribute by scanning the QR code on the poster or by dropping money into a donation box π§
Stop by and view this incredible artistic display of spookiness in support of Foundry! π π» π·οΈ π§ββοΈ π§
