Over the last week, I’ve shared 6 things small business owners struggle with.
If you're thinking "Yeah, that's me..." — you're not alone.
Here's what I do:
I set up automated systems for service
businesses. Missed call capture.
Lead forms. Review automation. Job tracking.
The whole stack.
You give me your phone number and details. I handle the technical setup. It works immediately.
No spreadsheets to figure out. No tool accounts to manage. Just results.
Two ways to get started:
Option 1 — Free assessment Tell me what's draining the most time/money from your business. I'll show you exactly what I'd fix first. 🔗 Book 20 minutes: https://calendly.com/elizabeth-daw/20min
Option 2 — Grab the checklist Diagnose where your business is leaking leads. No email required. Just download and see how many of these hit home.
Download it here: Needs Assessment
Either way, let's get your business running smoother.

A pattern we see constantly:
👉 Working longer hours.
👉 Making same (or less) money.
👉 Feeling exhausted.
👉 Not growing because you're too busy being in the business to work on it.
It usually comes down to one thing: Missing systems.
You're not broken. You just don't have the right systems in place.
An automated missed call capture. A lead form that actually works. A review request system. A clean job tracker. Message templates you can reuse.
These aren't complicated. They just need to be set up right.
But when they're all working together? Everything changes.
✅ You stop losing leads to voicemail
✅ Customers give you the info you need upfront
✅ You actually get asked for reviews (and get them)
✅ You know who owes you money and who you need to follow up with
✅ Admin time gets cut in half
✅ You actually have time to market
✅ You stop feeling like the bottleneck
If 3+ of the topics we've shared this week hit home for you, you might benefit from a fresh look at your whole operation.
I set these systems up for service businesses and non-profits. It changes the game.

Real talk: How are you tracking your jobs right now?
👉 Email threads scattered across your inbox?
👉 A spreadsheet that's a complete mess?
👉 Relying on memory (yikes)?
👉 Some combination of all three?
We talk to small business owners every week who lose track of:
✗ Who owes them money
✗ Which jobs need follow-ups
✗ Who hasn't been contacted in 2 months
✗ Where their time is actually going
Then we show them a clean job tracker with:
✓ Every job in one place
✓ Status at a glance
✓ Money owed automatically calculated
✓ Follow-up dates so nothing falls through
Their reaction? Usually "Why didn't I do this sooner?"
Does your system need a refresh? Tell us in the comments 👇

📋 Local business fact: More Google reviews = more calls.
But here's what most owners do:
✗ Don't ask at all
✗ Ask "sometime" but not systematically
✗ Get frustrated that competitors have way more reviews
✓ The businesses that actually grow? They ask every time.
Not pushy. Just natural.
"Thanks for choosing us! If we did a great job, we'd love a quick Google review. It only takes a minute and helps us a lot."
That's it. 24 hours after the job.
One contractor did this and went from 3 reviews to 12 in 3 months. He said: "I never thought to ask that consistently."
How many reviews do you ask for every month? Comment below 👇

You get a message: "Need work done. Call me."..that's it. No details. No address. No budget. Just "call me."
✓ Do you spend 20+ minutes digging for info before you can even quote them?
✓ Do half your inquiries go nowhere because you don't have enough details?
✓ Are you frustrated playing email tag to get basic information?
Small fix. Big difference.
Instead of back-and-forth messaging, what if they filled out a simple form?
📋 Name
📍 Address / location
📝 What they need

Now you have everything before you call them back.
They feel heard. You feel prepared.
Who else is dealing with vague inquiries? React with 👇

Honest question what happens when:
📱 A customer calls. Nobody answers. They call your competitor instead.
☎️ You get a voicemail but by the time you call back, they've already booked someone else.
➡️You're losing thousands in revenue to calls that go straight to voicemail!
📞Calls you could be capturing right now.
What if every missed call automatically sent them a text like this:
🗨️"Sorry we missed your call! We're likely on a job right now. What service do you need and what's the address?"💬
Now they reply with the info you need. No voicemail tag. No callback tag. Just real information.
I set this up for service businesses. It's literally recovered thousands in lost leads.

Do you relate? 👇 Comment YES if this is you.

Big news from Team Daw 👀🥌

We’re officially launching our new GoFundMe as we begin the road toward the 2026/2027 BC Wheelchair Curling Provincials.

Last season reminded us of something important: We are not done yet.

The goal is simple: Compete hard, represent Vancouver Island and BC proudly, and yes… make a serious run at winning Provincials 😉🏆

Wheelchair curling in BC only continues if people keep showing up, building, supporting, and pushing forward. That is exactly what we intend to do.

This season is about rebuilding stronger, training harder, growing the sport, and proving that experience, grit, and determination still matter.

If you want to support Team Daw on the road to Provincials, every share, donation, message, and bit of encouragement helps more than people realize.

More updates, fundraising events, merch, and behind-the-scenes content are coming soon.

Let’s do this. 🥌🔥
