Told the AI coach I wanted a back workout. It built one in seconds. Followed it rep for rep.

BryksBuilt is officially live on the App Store.

My brother David and I spent the last year building the fitness app we always wished existed. One app that replaces five.

Workout tracking with a full exercise library, demo videos, drop sets, supersets, and PR tracking. Nutrition logging with barcode scanning and AI powered meal photo recognition. An AI coach that builds workouts, writes recipes, and answers any fitness question 24/7. Full progress tracking for weight, body stats, and photos. And a gamification system with 100 levels, 10 prestige tiers, and 200 plus achievements so the work actually feels rewarding.

Built in Victoria, BC. Made for everyday gym rats, beginners, and personal trainers alike.

Ever wondered how many calories are sitting on a barbecue platter built to feed five people? I had the same question last night.
Family dinner at Jones Barbecue here in Victoria, BC. We ordered the Papa’s Platter loaded with brisket, ribs, pulled pork, sausage, and sides. It was me, my brother, our parents, and his fiancée splitting the whole thing.
Before we dug in, I scanned the platter using the AI feature in BryksBuilt. The full tray came back at 4,475 calories, 242 grams of protein, 312 grams of fat. My quarter share clocks in around 1,120 calories and 60 grams of protein. Logged it before the first bite.
I’m currently 220 pounds working my way down to 190. I’m not skipping family dinners to hit a number. I track it, own it, and adjust the rest of the week. That’s what calorie tracking is actually for. Awareness, not perfection.

Ran the TC10K yesterday with zero run training and somehow finished sub 45 minutes at a 4:30 per kilometer pace. Genuinely shocked.
Logged the whole race as a cardio session in BryksBuilt. Pace, distance, calories, XP, all tracked. Turns out lifting consistently in the gym pays off in places you wouldn’t expect.
Next race on the calendar is HYROX Victoria in September. Goal is to place top 10. If anyone has raced HYROX before or has tips for training, I’m all ears. Also taking suggestions for other Victoria races I should sign up for.

Meta POV: tracking calories on date night because abs don’t build themselves.
Started the day shirtless in the mirror, currently 220 and grinding down to 190. Snapped into the suit, grabbed flowers on the way, and pulled up to Chop Chop Omakase for what turned out to be a 12 course Japanese Korean fusion masterpiece. Genuinely one of the best meals I’ve had in Victoria. Chef was an artist.
Here’s the thing though. Omakase is 12 courses of mystery. Raw fish, warm broths, weird little bites you’ve never seen before. Try logging that in MyFitnessPal. You can’t.
I opened BryksBuilt, hit Ask AI, typed in what was on the plate, and boom. Calories logged. Macros counted. Date impressed. Gains protected.
This is what we built the app for. Real life. Real food. Real dates. No excuses.
