I want to take a good long moment to appreciate this man!
I truly don't know if I'd still be here on the West Coast sharing Zenthai if he had not fallen down from the heavens to work alongside me.
Coming back to Canada in 2023 shortly after a strong concussion, I then faced multiple devastating personal losses, all the while trying to get my dream business off the ground; a movement centred around community in a place where in all honesty, I had lost touch with most of my connections.
Though my spirit is strong for this work, I needed real, tangible support. Most of the assistants and collaborations I’d been dreaming up went sideways or fell through completely.
But from the ancient ruins of an old email list, Victor came to West Coast Zenthai’s very first Level 1, and he’s been to EVERY SINGLE ONE SINCE! Including jumping aboard the 9-month program. With an increasing level of involvement, Victor often jokes that “Clara can’t get rid of me”. Well the truth is that I’d never dream to!
Everything from website updates and spreadsheets, connecting with and collecting many of the beautiful humans that find Zenthai, politely nagging at/reminding me to get things done, optimizing everything, teaching acro yoga, and promoting this work absolutely everywhere he goes (which is many places). I think I've forgotten some too.... Victor has been the biggest gift. He’s got skills, enthusiasm and energy in many of the areas I lack, and is humble and consistent in his support.
But perhaps most importantly, he has offered a sense of community and kinship to my own journey, which is really what keeps me going.
With his help the Level 1 is sold out and we are taking a waitlist! But we’ve also been scheming up another Zenthai retreat October 22-25th… stay tuned!!
Most who have worked with me already know him, so I want to hear from you: what’s your favourite thing or memory about Victor?!
Many photos here are by another beautiful Zenthai soul Safiya ❤️
