November 15 - December 20th

This workshop series is designed to empower you to manage and alleviate pain through the principals of yoga and is suitable for anyone dealing with chronic pain, injury related discomfort, or individuals that are seeking holistic pain management solutions. ✨

Each session will include education, self reflection, and physical practice embracing each weeks focus, giving you to tools to live your life with greater comfort and ease. ✨

The workshop will be guided by and two certified therapists combining their desire to help others to live with more joy and freedom, and sharing their knowledge and love for yoga and modern science.

Meet Sarah✨

“I began practicing yoga as a way to stretch after running, but it became so much more than a physical practice when I started to feel subtle changes in my mind and heart. Without realizing it, I had started down the path of self-discovery, and it has changed my life for the better. Practicing yoga gives me the space I need to let go of my thoughts, listen, and connect to my heart, and embrace my dreams.
 
I started teaching yoga in 2013 to share my passion for this beautiful and mindful practice, that has truly been such a positive influence in my life. I strive to give students space to connect with heart and intuition, and to their unique passions. I believe that taking the time to find stillness, to breathe, and to listen will help us tap into our own innate wisdom and guide us to where we truly want to be.
 
I enjoy spending time immersed in nature and feeling a connection to our beautiful Planet Earth. I believe there is always more to learn, and will always be an enthusiastic student and explorer of our world ♡
 
I’m a 500 hr certified yoga teacher, and teach all levels Yin, Restorative, Hatha, Vinyasa, and paddle board (SUP) classes. I’ve also completed 100 hrs of Sound Meditation training and really enjoy offering relaxing Sound Baths ♡ I ensure each class includes a component of mindfulness meditation and time to integrate in Savasana!”

Breath is a powerful tool, it can change the way you feel physically, emotionally and mentally; the breath soothes the body and calms the mind.
 
In this workshop, you will learn Pranayama (yogic breathing) techniques, which help harness the power of breath to deepen your yoga and meditation practice.
 
✨ To relax the body Dawn leads a Yin & Restorative yoga practice with Yoga Nidra techniques.

✨ To calm the mind you will practice breathing techniques to strengthen your awareness and focus.

✨ Ending in guided meditation, you will leave feeling balanced and at ease in your body and mind.
 
Bolsters, blankets and blocks are provided. If you have and prefer a meditation pillow feel free to bring it along. Please wear comfortable loose fitting clothing; if you tend to get cold, wear layers or bring a wrap.

Sarah Lageunesse is an award-winning coach, writer, speaker and “shmealer” (shame healer) who helps humans heal the areas of shame in their lives that prevent them from experiencing a greater and richer quality of life by releasing the guilt, shame, and experiences from the past that keep us in unwanted or disempowering circumstances.
 
Learn how shame affects your self esteem, self worth, self belief, and self confidence and subsequently how that is affecting our children and future generations.

Discover how shame can be detrimental to your sense of identity, health, finances, intimacy and your ability to connect and communicate with the loved ones around you.

See how individual, societal, and generational shame can limit one’s ability to model self esteem and leadership to our children and teens.

But more importantly this talk will show you the powerful shifts that can happen when we begin to release the layers of generational shame and how to prevent these patterns from unconsciously being passes onto our children and future generations.

So weather you’re wanting to improve your confidence, economics, self-esteem, relationships, success, health, intimacy, or overall wellbeing, Sarah believes that the quality of each can be strengthened based on the amount of personal history one is willing and ready to leave behind. In this course you will learn ways to alleviate physical discomfort in the spine through gentle movement. But also dive deeper into how our mindset and emotions can affect our experience of pain, and can either exacerbate it, or alleviate it.

Recent studies are now showing how self compassion to one’s self in times of suffering can change our neurological pathways in our brain and thus the physical feeling of pain. Learn how to develop self compassion with Rena using mediation and breathwork techniques combined with physical therapeutic Yoga to help relieve your symptoms.
