It’s the official release date of Whiny Baby today! Welcome, little one. ☺️ A huge thank you to all involved in bringing this book to the world. Firstly to everyone at my press, McGill-Queen's University Press and especially editor Carolyn Smart, who made this book better with her insightful edits. Thanks, too, to cover designer David Drummond—the image is a pic of the cross on Mount Royal in Montreal 💕.

A special thanks to my writing allies, near and far—friends, writing groups, family. You’re the best! And a big thanks to poetry lovers and readers—it wouldn’t be possible without you. 🙏🏼💓

It’s also Day 1 of my little tour—you can hear poems from WB in Toronto tonight at Art Bar Poetry Series: Stedmond Pardy, Julie Paul, and Khashayar Mohammadi.

This is a notice that my prices will increase slightly as of September, 2023. New amounts:

45 minute massage: $95.24 plus GST ($100)
60 minute massage: $120 plus GST ($126)

I sure do love summer, but it’s the first time in 30 years of massaging that I’ve rescheduled patients because of the heat! Working or getting a massage in a mask, with no A/C=no fun. I’m grateful to be self-employed on days like this 🤩😅. Now back to the basement and more iced coffee. Stay cool, everyone. 😎💓
