Island Sexual Health has provided clinical and educational services to all people in Victoria BC since 1969. We believe that sexual health care should be comfortable, confidential and client-centred and accessible and safe for people of all orientations, gender identities, ethnicities, abilities and ages.

We are so thrilled to be sharing this amazing event from Honouring Home Clinical Counselling with you!

Honouring Home Clinical Counselling is celebrating one year of offering mental health support to q***r, gender-diverse, (dis)abled folks and allies in the community.

To celebrate, join us for a gentle, hands-on afternoon of wet felting, reflection, and community connection. Together, we’ll create a beautiful felted vessel while exploring the idea of what we hold—our experiences, relationships, responsibilities, emotions, and the people we care for.

Through the process of shaping wool, we’ll consider how we can soften, make room, and expand our capacity for what we hold, while recognizing that we don’t have to hold everything alone.

In keeping with Honouring Home’s commitment to community care, all proceeds after material and venue costs will be donated to Island Sexual Health to support their programs serving q***r and gender-diverse communities.

No art experience necessary. Come as you are, make something with your hands, and share in a conversation about capacity, care, and community.

Only 10 spots available. Workshop is intended for Adults.

As Victoria celebrates Pride, we wanted to take a moment to share a re-cap of an incredible 2SLGBTQIA+ youth training program YLEAD (Youth Lived Experience as Ambassadors of Development) and visual arts installation “It Takes a Village” that we were lucky enough to develop this year. YLEAD was based on the idea that the lived experience and learning of youth can be a catalyst for community safety, diversity and celebration. 🏳️‍🌈
