You can help protect the North Coast Oil Tanker Moratorium!

This law keeps oil tankers off B.C.’s north coast, protecting the Great Bear Sea, coastal communities, and the wildlife that call this region home.

From salmon and orcas to local jobs and businesses, the north coast thrives because it’s protected from the risk of oil spills.

Don’t let that protection be rolled back. Join the thousands speaking up to keep oil tankers out of the Great Bear Sea.

⚽ The World Cup has brought more people than usual to B.C. to experience iconic old-growth forests.

So, we're shedding light on the truth: unsustainable logging practices and lack of protection have put these awe-inspiring ecosystems at risk.

Despite repeated promises from the provincial government to protect these at-risk forests, every day, 100 soccer fields of irreplaceable old growth are cut down.

Don’t let this be game over for them.

This graphic is part of a major campaign to raise awareness about protecting the last ancient forests in B.C. Will you join the thousands of people already speaking up?

Hey soccer fans, have you spotted these forest ads all over Vancouver? 👀

We brought old growth to the World Cup to raise awareness about the dire state these ecosystems are in. Every day, 100 soccer fields of irreplaceable old growth are cut down in B.C. And only a fraction of the most endangered stands are protected.

You can help save what’s left. Send a message at ProtectOldGrowth.ca.

A powerful graphic from SkeenaWild Conservation Trust. The North Coast supports a thriving economy, from fisheries to ecotourism. An oil spill would put all this at risk. The North Coast Oil Tanker Moratorium must stay in place!

A major oil spill on our coast would devastate wild salmon, the lifeblood of our region. Today, thousands of residents are signing up to defend the North Coast Oil Tanker Moratorium.

You're invited to our letter-writing party for old growth on June 25 🌲 Grab a friend and join this online community event where we'll guide you in creating a powerful letter that will move your MLA.

Writing a personal letter is one of the most effective ways to speak up for old-growth forests. MLAs get hundreds of emails every day and often don’t get the chance to read them. A handwritten letter is much more effective. It is almost always read by someone in the office, and it shows how much you care about old growth in B.C.

As hundreds of thousands of visitors arrive in Vancouver from around the globe, we're using this moment to shine a spotlight on one of the world's most endangered ecosystems: old-growth forests. We've covered Vancouver in forest transit ads, projections and LED trucks to bring our call for action to an international audience.

⚽ As the World Cup kicks off in Vancouver today, even more people than usual are visiting from all over the globe to experience the mountains, oceans, and most importantly, our incredible ancient forests.

Fans should know the truth: B.C. still clear-cuts the equivalent of 100 soccer fields of old-growth forests every day.

Don’t let this be game over for old growth.

Old-growth forests aren’t renewable. Once logged, they’re gone forever.

It takes centuries for these ancient ecosystems to mature. They store massive amounts of carbon, retain water, and provide critical habitat for endangered species. Yet only a fraction of at-risk old growth remains in B.C.

Take action today to protect the last old-growth forests by commenting "🌲" and we'll DM you a link
