On Wednesday we were very lucky to have Aunty Collective come and show us how to Cedar Weave and teach us a bit about their practices. Thank you to everyone who came to learn and thank you again to the wonderful ladies who spent time with us!!!

Our last two weekend socials have been exciting adventures outside getting fresh air. The first was Ogden Point with a hot drink, and so much gorgeous sun that there was even ice cream!
The second was a walking ghost tour, adventuring around Victoria learning the haunted history of it.

Our AGM is an opportunity to share highlights from the year, review our organization's activities and finances, and take part in the important business that helps guide our Clubhouse forward.

We welcome our members and community supporters to join us in gathering and celebrating another year of connection, community, and meaningful opportunities.

🌈 What a day! Being part of the pride festival at MacDonald Park over the weekend was incredible.

We met so many wonderful people, had thoughtful conversations about mental wellness and recovery, handed out Pride-themed keychains made at the Clubhouse, and were reminded just how powerful community can be.

Everywhere you looked there was music, laughter, celebration, and even weddings! It was also a special opportunity to connect with the leader of the BC Greens, Emily Lowan. And yes, Everest did too many cartwheels.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, shared your story, asked about Connections Place, or simply said hello. It was an honor to be part of a day that celebrates authenticity, belonging, and the freedom to be yourself.

We're already looking forward to next year. Happy Pride! 🏳️‍🌈🧩

Yesterday was our beloved Sarah's last day! Sarah's work at Connections Place was beyond bookkeeping -- her hilarious stories, joyful laugh, and compassionate support to our community will forever be fondly remembered.

Wishing Sarah all of the best as she continues excellent work in the non-profit sector
