Oak Bay Optometry Clinic Offering eye exams, glasses, and sunglasses for over 32 years. Our Dry Eye Clinic is now open! We see kids, teens, adults, and seniors.

The eye doctors at Oak Bay Optometry Clinic have been providing excellent care for nearly twenty-five years. By constantly focusing on keeping up with the latest technology and a deep commitment to ongoing continuing education we are superbly qualified to diagnose and manage eye disorders and disease. At Oak Bay Optometry we are committed to giving back to our community, to our profession and to those in the greatest need. Our Doctors routinely serve on the Victoria Optometric Association and on the BC Association of Optometrists. Dr. Paterson has participated in an Optometry mission to Ethiopia, 4500 eye examinations were performed in nine days (not all by Dr. Paterson) and Dr. Sutter participated in a mission to Belize in 2009. Be it helping a child to learn to read or detecting an eye disease early so that treatment is as effective as possible, or designing a custom solution in glasses or contact lenses for the demanding visual needs of modern life, it's providing this variety of services that gives the doctors at Oak Bay great satisfaction.

In BC, MSP provides an annual contribution toward eye exams for children and youth ages 0-18.

At Oak Bay Optometry, we’ve chosen not to charge an additional clinic fee for children’s eye exams unless additional testing or services are required, such as a contact lens fitting.

Meet Dr. Koa Jacques. She got her first job as an optical dispenser at Oak Bay Optometry while attending Oak Bay High School. And now, after earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo, she has returned to the clinic as an Optometrist.

If you haven’t already heard, Oak Bay Optometry & Acorn Optometry have welcomed two new Optometrists to the clinics.

Meet Dr. Jordan Kassouf. He grew up just south of Montréal and earned his Doctors of Optometry degree from the Université de Montréal. Fully bilingual, he’s always happy to care for patients in either English or French.
