Imagine that just outside of your awareness, there is an energy whose higher purpose is to support you in every way possible. Picture ‘an asse

Did I Leave My Body, or Was Consciousness Simply Expanding?

After reading Dr. Raymond Moody's Proof of Life After Life, I found myself revisiting my own experiences and asking a question I had never really considered before: Were these out-of-body experiences?

How do I understand the moments when I described details of an acquaintance's surroundings in India, thousands of kilometres away, while sitting in my living room? What about the time my awareness travelled across Canada, watching the landscape below me? Or when I arrived in someone's living room, only to find my perception matched reality?

In each experience, one thing was certain: I was aware of both places at the same time. I was here... and I was there.

As I explored the differences between out-of-body experiences and remote viewing, I began to wonder if there was another way to describe what was happening.

Most people ask whether White Dove: Spirit of 17 Mile House Pub is a ghost story.

Perhaps the better question is…

What might her story reveal about consciousness?

Over the years, I’ve come to believe the most fascinating part of this story isn’t whether a spirit remained at the 17 Mile House Pub. It’s what the experiences suggest about awareness itself.

Can consciousness exist independently of the brain?

Can love, memory, and personality continue after death?

White Dove doesn’t demand answers. She simply invites you to listen. In life, no one truly heard her story. Now, by listening, you become part of it. Perhaps the simple act of bearing witness can begin to heal a wrong that has echoed through time.

Maybe the greatest gift we can offer is simply to listen with love.

~ A Love Note from Spirit ~

Once love has been shared, the truth of it remains as an energy that can be profoundly felt far beyond the human experience.

Open your heart and let this truth expand beyond the boundaries of your physical experience. Let its goodness move out in all directions to mingle with the thousands who open their hearts to receive it. They are waiting there to be touched by your truth, such that they too might benefit from the joy expressed.

Imagine the expansion of light that mingles, dances there, and showers down into the waiting arms of those who need just that. Be that giving. Share love in a selfless manner. There is enough there to go around. Let that be your truth.

I can honestly say that love, unlike some of the other emotions, is one sought after by all who attend your Earth journey. And sharing it, even on the minutest scale, can increase the joy inherent in both its release and its receiving.

Open your heart and love that much.

Let love reign!

For in that act of selfless love comes the gift of untethered joy.

Let that be your goal: to love others without hesitation. Open your heart to that, and let love reign.

I went into an animal communication session with a dog named Lola feeling nervous. Wanting to "do a good job," I asked Spirit to take the lead.

The response surprised me.

"Contrary to what you believe, these connections with the animal spirits are not from me, but through the animal itself. Your job is to listen deeply. Trust, breathe, open, accept and fail or not...It's about letting things flow."

So I let go of my doubts and listened.

One of the first things Lola showed me was herself curled up in a round dog bed in front of a large wooden piece of furniture in the living room. She wanted her owner, Cristal, to leave a worn shirt there.

"I'll nuzzle it and breathe in your scent," Lola explained.

Hours later, after the reading was complete, Cristal wrote back. Not only did Lola have a round bed exactly where I'd described, but it sat beside a large wooden desk in the living room.

And that was only the beginning.

Lola went on to explain her separation anxiety, why she insists on sniffing the car before walks, how her hearing challenges affect her confidence, and even shared thoughts about a dog she watches through the fence next door.

This session became a lesson in trust, verification, humour, and the surprising wisdom of animals.

If a dog can speak to me through visions, he deserves a present, don't you think?

I'm such a softy...

My dental hygienist (J.) and I have a fun relationship. Whenever I visit, I have visions of various animals (and people) who are important to her. Once it was a parrot, who told me he loved eating mangos. Another time, an pup who happened to be tucked away in the back office. Another time, a goldfish...

This is her dog Dennis. He never comes into the clinic room, she told me. He always lies in the hall. Except, for me...he came up for loves and rubs, then curled up on the floor beside my chair. Unheard of and shocking to my hygienist! (Too fun)

It seems Dennis had something to say!

While he lay there an image came into my mind. A favourite chew toy––yellow stuffed duck. When I asked, J. say he used to have one.

Next, Dennis showed me a second chew toy., a blue one with white on it. There was nothing too subtle about it. Dennis was saying, if I wanted, I could get him a blue toy. He wouldn't say no. haha

I couldn't resist.

A Love Note from Spirit ~ Anxiety is a sacred language

Anxiety is not your enemy. Why do humans treat it as such?

We here in spirit are puzzled by this, as we look on with empathy, kindness, concern. There is a calling within the seed of anxiety, whispering to your heart to listen, and yet those in the midst of the anxious experience so often miss the call.

Listen gently, Loved One. Listen more often than you’ve come to practice.

There are distractions with a capital ‘D’ in your world. I understand you turn to them to separate from anguish, but in doing so, you separate yourself from love.

No wonder you feel out of sorts…

If you must separate yourself from something, do so with the mind-numbing activities you’re engaged in. Instead, become aware of your need for distraction and sit with your awareness for a time.

Take a moment right now. Reach into anxiety, and whisper softly, “I’m listening.” Now gently, with compassion, place your hand on your heart and take a step further, “I’m here.”

Anxiety is a sacred language, intended to bring you closer to yourself. As you open your heart to self-kindness, new pathways of possibility begin to emerge. We encourage you to begin with awareness, then step into the language of sacred self-love.

Breathe again, Dear One. We are with you.
