Send this to someone who may need a reminder that healing is not linear.

There will be days when you feel calm, grounded, and connected to yourself.

And there will be days when old fears return. Days when you find yourself overthinking, people-pleasing, catastrophizing, or falling back into patterns you thought you had already outgrown.

That doesn’t mean you’re back at the beginning.

Healing isn’t about never struggling again. It’s about changing your relationship with the struggle.

Every time you pause instead of panic.
Every time you bring compassion to the part of you that feels scared.
Every time you stay with a sensation instead of running from it.

You are creating safety.

And those small moments matter far more than you realize.

They are the bricks that slowly build a foundation beneath you. A foundation strong enough to hold uncertainty, discomfort, and even the difficult days.

The changes often happen so gradually that you don’t notice them while they’re occurring.

Then one day you’ll find yourself responding differently to something that once would have overwhelmed you.

You’ll catch yourself being kinder to yourself, recovering more quickly from setbacks, or
spending less time trapped in worry and more time present in your life.

And you’ll look back and realize just how far you’ve come.

So please, keep going.

The path may not be straight, but you are still moving forward.

Many people waste decades trying to change their anxious thoughts.

I know I did.

Every new strategy, every new technique, every new way of thinking felt like it might finally be the thing that would free me from anxiety. But the more I searched for answers in my mind, the more exhausted I became.

What I eventually discovered changed everything:

The mind isn’t creating most of our anxiety.

It’s responding to it.

When the body feels alarmed, the mind starts searching for reasons why. It creates stories, worries, what-ifs, and worst-case scenarios in an attempt to make sense of what you’re feeling.

The problem is that we often mistake those thoughts for the cause.

They’re not.

They’re the explanation.

Healing began for me when I stopped asking, “How do I get rid of these thoughts?” and started asking, “What is my body trying to tell me?”

That’s where the real work begins.

For many people with anxiety, their childhood felt… unpredictable.

You never knew what mood someone would be in.
You never knew when conflict, rejection, criticism, or emotional abandonment might appear.
You learned to stay alert because your body believed vigilance was safety.

And over time, uncertainty itself became associated with danger.

That’s why anxiety so often feels bigger than the current situation.

The feeling in the body is old… but the mind finds a modern explanation for it.

Healing begins when we stop shaming ourselves for being afraid and start understanding why the body learned to fear uncertainty in the first place.

And slowly, gently, through compassion and repetition, we can teach the nervous system something new:
Uncertainty is uncomfortable.
But it is not always dangerous.

Health anxiety is incredibly misunderstood because the fear feels so physical, and REAL.

The chest tightness.
The dizziness.
The gut issues.
The tingling.
The heart palpitations.

Your body feels like it’s screaming that something is wrong, so of course your mind starts searching for answers, that is its job.

I know this pain very intimately because I lived it myself.

What I eventually realized is that I wasn’t actually searching for a diagnosis.

I was searching for certainty.
For safety.
For relief from the unbearable feeling of uncertainty living inside my body.

And no amount of Googling, reassurance, tests, scans, or checking could truly give me that.

Because anxiety is not starting in your thoughts.
It’s starting in your body.

When the body is stuck in a state of alarm, the mind will constantly scan for danger to explain that feeling.

That’s why reassurance only works temporarily, AND keeps you coming back for more. And more. And more.

Real healing begins when you stop trying to think your way to safety and start teaching your body that it is safe again.

Comment SAFE below if you’d like the first lesson from my groundbreaking anxiety healing program MBRX 2.0

Many anxious people don’t realize that some of the things they do to try to feel better are actually teaching their body to stay afraid.

Reassurance seeking may calm you temporarily, but it also teaches your nervous system: "I can’t handle uncertainty on my own.”

Avoiding uncomfortable feelings may feel protective, but what we resist in the body tends to stay stuck there. (And gradually get worse!)

And overthinking?
That’s often a process people engage when the mind trying to solve what the body is still carrying.

Anxiety is not just a thinking problem.
It’s a feeling problem that thinks.

Healing begins when we stop fighting our sensations and start learning how to safely feel them instead.

That is where healing begins.

Send this to someone who may need a reminder of how strong they truly are.

If you live with anxiety, you may not see your own strength.

You may only notice how hard things feel.

How much you overthink.
How easily you become overwhelmed.
How often you doubt yourself.

But what I see, over and over again, is remarkable resilience.

I see people getting up each morning and going to work with a knot in their stomach.

I see parents caring for their children while managing an undercurrent of intense fear.

I see people showing up for relationships, appointments, and responsibilities while their minds are telling them something terrible is about to happen.

That is not weakness.

That is strength.

The truth is, your sensitivity is not a flaw.

It is part of what makes you intuitive, empathic, and deeply attuned to the world around you.

And your anxiety is not proof that something is wrong with you.

It is often the result of a nervous system that learned to stay alert in order to protect you.

So if you are living with anxiety, please remember this:

You are not weak.

You are carrying a tremendous load, and you keep showing up anyway.

And that says far more about your strength than you probably realize.
