We live in a culture that rewards busyness, productivity, achievement, and people-pleasing. The more we do, the more we’re praised for it.
But sometimes all that doing isn’t helping us move forward, it’s helping us avoid slowing down long enough to notice what we’re carrying.
Avoiding difficult feelings.
Avoiding unmet needs.
Avoiding the parts of ourselves asking for attention.
What would happen if you slowed down?
What feelings might surface?
What needs might become clearer?
What parts of yourself have been waiting for your attention?
The answer might feel uncomfortable.
