From my naturopathic office, I recognize the importance of supporting men’s mental and emotional well-being.

Men often carry a lot silently — stress, responsibility, work pressure, and emotional strain — and may feel they need to “push through” on their own. But mental health is just as important as physical health, and support is always available.

Today is a reminder of how deeply connected we are to the Earth and how much our well-being depends on its health.

One simple way to reconnect is through grounding (earthing) — spending time barefoot on natural surfaces like grass, soil, or sand. This practice helps us slow down, breathe more deeply, and feel more present while reconnecting with nature’s rhythms. 🌱

Whether you're still in the planning stage or well underway with your spring planting, here's a helpful tip for later this summer when those zucchinis start piling up. Don't let them go to waste!

When planting out your garden, bear in mind that zucchini and other summer squash *can* be preserved in ways other than freezing. (In fact, freezing is my least favorite way to preserve them!)

One of my favorite ways to preserve summer squash is to use a vegetable spiralizer to cut them into spaghetti shape, then dehydrate. I then rehydrate in wster to make low carb "noodles.: You can also cut the squash into thin, long strips, like lasagna noodles, dehydrate, and rehydrate for lasagna. Shredded and dehydrated works, too, and is great for soups and stews.

Another great way to preserve summer squash is by canning. There are several tested safe pickle recipes for summer squash, as well as a faux pineapple recipe. Search for "preserve squash" at Proverbs 31 Homestead dot com for my favorite summer squash canning recipes.

With over 200 years of history, homeopathy is well established in countries such as Germany, France, England, and India.

In practice, remedies may be used individually in higher potencies or in combination (complex homeopathy) to support overall function and gentle detoxification. In my practice, homeopathy is used as an adjunct therapy alongside other treatments rather than a stand-alone approach.
