Last week we participated in the 41st Chippewas of Rama First Nation Health Fair. This is a yearly event that we love being a part of. It’s a chance for us to connect with local businesses while the community learns about the various services available to them. As always, the day was well-organized and attended. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to chat with us and congratulations to the winner of our basket draw.

A new highlight this year was the stationary bike smoothies! Ed from Think Feet Family Foot Clinic Orillia did a great job encouraging Diane to work for her delicious drink!

Thank you to everyone involved with organizing the event and to all who attended and made it a success.

The forecast for Saturday has improved! If you’re around, this will be the place to be!

This Saturday, September 19 is Fair Day! Bring your entries to the Ramona Hall Friday (18th) from 10 am - 4 pm or 6 pm - 8 pm. Entry forms will be available or print and complete in advance. See our website. One entry form for each family member.

Adult entries bring your current membership card. If this is your first time, you will be asked to purchase a 2026 membership for $10 cash. Bring this card on Saturday for free entry to the fair.

Junior Fair entries are 14 years and under. Winning entries receive cash prizes. 1st: 5 pts, 2nd: 4 pts, 3rd: 3 pts, 4th: 2 pts, 5th: 1 pt. The boy or girl with the overall top points receives a "Certificate of Achievement" and a trophy from the Ramona Agricultural Society.

We had such a great afternoon supporting the Cope Service Dogs High Tea today! We got to listen to people’s stories and learn what’s involved with the training of these incredible dogs. It was touching and inspirational and we love this program even more than before!

Please welcome our new Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncturist - Carolyn Stirling.

Carolyn brings over 30 years of healthcare experience to her practice as an acupuncturist. After 25 years as a dental hygienist, she began her journey into Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2017, and has been the owner and practitioner of Mariposa Acupuncture in Orillia since 2020. She takes a personalized holistic approach to care, with special interest in women’s health, fertility, pregnancy support, perimenopause and menopause, stress, anxiety, pain management and overall wellness. Carolyn is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, supported and cared for. She is excited to join Junction Rehabilitation and looks forward to being part of the team here.

🍂Saturday September 19 is coming up quick!🍂

We are gearing up and preparing for the annual Ramona Fall Fair on Saturday, September 19. We will have exhibits in the hall, farm animals in the barn, free kids games, great vendors, horse pulls, b**r tent and of course our fantastic food! Admission price is $5 for non-members; 14 and under enter for FREE.

The annual Horseshoe Tournament will be the night before on Friday, September 18. Registration will begin at 6:30pm with the tournament starting at 7pm. We've added additional pits so more can play! The pits are just about ready and will be available for members to use up until day of tournament. More info regarding use of pits to come.

We are looking for volunteers for set up, fair day and take down - great opportunity for students & fun way to become involved with the hall!
