Learn to Paddle: 3-Week Stand-Up Paddleboard Series!

Ready to experience the freedom of gliding across the water? Our Learn to Paddle: 3-Week SUP Series is the perfect introduction to stand-up paddleboarding. Whether you're stepping onto a board for the very first time or looking to build confidence after a few paddles, this progressive series will help you develop the skills and comfort needed to enjoy the sport safely and confidently.

Over three weekly sessions, you'll learn the fundamentals of stand-up paddleboarding, including proper stance and balance, efficient paddling techniques, turning and maneuvering, water safety, and how to navigate a variety of conditions.

Each class builds upon the previous one, allowing plenty of time to practice, progress, and enjoy being out on the water.

In the middle of a busy day, the body and mind carry more than we often realise — accumulated tension, mental noise, and the low-grade stress of constant doing. At The Well, we offer a deliberate counterpoint to that momentum: a dedicated window to step back, breathe, and reset.

Drawing on a carefully curated blend of mindful movement, breathwork, and meditation — and woven through with elements like sound healing and live music — our classes work directly with the nervous system, helping to release physical tension, quiet mental chatter, and restore a sense of clarity and groundedness.

Unlike passive rest, intentional stillness practised regularly has meaningful long-term benefits for both mental and physical health, from reduced cortisol levels to improved focus, emotional regulation, and resilience. Every session at The Well is thoughtfully held, creating a space that feels both nourishing and intentional — because we believe that stillness, when practised with care, is one of the most powerful things you can do for yourself.

Yogashala Wellness Centre and 28Music are proud to announce the first-ever Roots & Wings Festival, a unique community event celebrating performers of all ages and skill levels. From toddlers playing their first piano notes to adults picking up an instrument or singing publicly for the very first time, Roots & Wings welcomes everyone to share music, rhythm, and melody in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The festival blends wellness and music, offering tools and experiences to help performers feel grounded, confident, and connected to their creativity. Attendees will have access to wellness activities, cold plunge and sauna cycles, short interactive workshops, and guidance from local practitioners — all designed to support performers in expressing themselves freely through music.

This community event is also inspired by yoga philosophy, which encourages self-awareness, balance, and authentic expression. Just as yoga invites individuals to connect breath, body, and mind, music offers a powerful pathway for creative expression and emotional connection.

Roots & Wings embraces these shared values by creating a supportive space where participants can practice courage, presence, and non-judgment — allowing creativity to emerge naturally and joyfully.

Roots & Wings will feature multiple performance stages, community participation, and local vendors, creating an atmosphere of connection, learning, and celebration.

The goal is simple: to give performers of all levels a safe space to explore, grow, and enjoy making music together — because music is for everyone.

“Roots & Wings is about nurturing creativity at every stage,” says Bernadette Connors of 28Music. “Whether it’s a three-year-old’s first notes or a 70-year-old’s first public song, everyone deserves the support, encouragement, and joy that comes from performing and connecting through music.”

The Roots & Wings Festival invites the community to gather for an afternoon of music, wellness, creativity, and connection in the beautiful setting of Yogashala Wellness Center.
