What a fun afternoon!
We had the Waterloo Region Chinese Canadian Association here and instructed our group on the techniques of Chinese drawing and painting. What a unique experience this was.
This group also has performed here before with their magical performances to a huge crowd.. Thank you so much from all of us!

We had a huge crowd out to celebrate our HAWAIIAN DAY with talented singer, Henry Winter. Henry, has been coming here to entertain us with his amazing voice and musical talents.. Everyone was dressed up while we served many Pina Coladas!

Thank you to the great group of ladies from U of W Glamour gals association. They came and made our ladies nails so beautiful! We always have a great turnout when they arrive.. Great job!!!

National Cat Day
Happy National Cat Day from all of us at Clair Hills! Today we're celebrating the whiskered companions who fill our days with comfort, personality, and the occasional bit of mischief. Here's to the cats who make every lap, windowsill, and sunny spot feel a little more like home.
Pets are always welcome here! we love them.

Periodically this summer we turned our dining room into the Rogers concession stand full of delicious ball park foods. Residents had their choice of pizza, chicken fingers, fries, nachos with cheese or gravy, and of course good ol' ball park franks! Thanks to our Culinary team for making this day so special.. Residents loved it!

Chartwell Wish of a Lifetime Fundraiser
This summer, Clair Hills is proud to support Chartwell Wish of a Lifetime by having our own WISH WALK on Friday August 14th. CWOL is helping create meaningful moments for seniors across Canada.
Every dollar raised brings us one step closer to making another wish come true. To submit a wish, nominate a senior, or donate, visit www.chartwellwishofalifetime.ca.
Residents, staff, families and friends are more than welcome to join this fun event.
We will be walking from our home to Baskin Robbins in the Sobey's plaza in Waterloo.

Periodically through the summer we have special Blue Jays Lunch days. Our dining room is set up like a concession stand where you can get all the delicious ball park foods, and of course we have hot dogs! Today's choice was french fries, nachos and cheese or gravy, pizza, chicken fingers and more.. Many happy faces! Thank you to our dietary staff for making our day feel like we were at the ball game!
