Ever have a conversation with yourself that goes something like this?
Your mind brings up a “what if...”
You answer it.
Then your mind comes up with another one.
And before you know it, you're ten steps into a situation that hasn't even happened.
That's the tricky thing about overthinking. Your mind is often trying to protect you by preparing you.
But preparing for every possible outcome can quickly become exhausting.
You don't have to convince yourself that everything will be okay.
Sometimes the more helpful thought is simply:
“I don't know what will happen. But I trust myself to handle it when I get there.”
That's a conversation worth practicing. ❤️

Sometimes we think we need to think things through one more time.

One more possibility.
One more scenario.
One more answer.

But there will always be something we can't predict.
And constantly searching for certainty can become exhausting.

Maybe the goal isn't to know exactly how everything will turn out.
Maybe it's learning to trust yourself enough to say:

"𝐼 𝑑𝑜𝑛'𝑡 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑒𝑛... 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝐼'𝑙𝑙 ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑙𝑒 𝑖𝑡 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑖𝑡 𝑑𝑜𝑒𝑠."

That's not giving up control.
That's building trust in yourself. ❤️

How often do we say “I'm fine” because it's easier than explaining how we're actually feeling?
You keep showing up. You take care of what needs to be done. You keep moving.
But maybe you're tired in a way that sleep doesn't seem to fix.
Maybe you've become really good at functioning while quietly feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or just not quite yourself.
I've had moments like this too.
And I've learned that acknowledging how we're actually doing isn't weakness. It's awareness.
You don't have to wait until you're completely exhausted to pay attention to what your mind and body are telling you.
Sometimes the first step isn't fixing anything.
It's simply being honest with yourself: “I'm not fine right now. And that's okay.”
That honesty can be where something begins to shift.

Anxiety can make uncertainty feel like something we need to solve.

We try to think it through.
Prepare for every possibility.
Find reassurance.
Get one more answer.

But sometimes the shift isn't finding more certainty.

It's learning that you can handle not knowing.

That's a different kind of confidence.

If you're feeling overwhelmed and would like a simple way to slow things down and give your mind and body a little space, I've created a free Stress Reset Audio.

You can find it here: Stress Reset

You don't have to have everything figured out before you can feel a little more settled.🩷

Sometimes the hardest part isn't recognizing that we have a pattern.

It's realizing why we keep returning to it.

Maybe it's keeping the peace.
Avoiding conflict.
Staying quiet.
Putting everyone else first.

These responses often developed for a reason. They may have helped us navigate something at one point, even if they're no longer serving us in the same way.

And noticing that doesn't mean blaming yourself.

It means you have more awareness than you did before.

And awareness gives you the opportunity to choose differently.

If you're feeling stressed or overwhelmed and want to give your mind and body a little space to settle, I've created a free Stress Reset Audio you can try.

Sometimes we think change requires more discipline, more effort, or simply trying harder.
But what if the answer isn't to push harder?
What if it's to get curious about why you keep responding the way you do?
When we understand the thoughts, emotions, and patterns underneath our reactions, we create space to make a different choice.
And that space matters.
Awareness creates choice. Choice creates change. ❤️

What if your next step isn't trying harder, but understanding yourself a little better?

08/28/2026

I've definitely had moments where I knew I was overthinking, knew I was reacting from emotion, and still couldn't seem to stop myself.

I'd replay the situation, think about what I should have done, promise myself I'd respond differently next time...

Then I find myself doing something similar again.

It's frustrating when you know better but don't always feel able to do better in the moment.

I've come to understand that change isn't always about trying harder. Sometimes it's about recognizing the pattern underneath the reaction.

That awareness can create a little space between what you feel and what you do next.

And sometimes, that space is where change starts.

We often talk about the subconscious as if it's some mysterious place where everything is stored.

I think a more useful way to look at it is this:

Your brain is constantly learning what to automate.

Some of those patterns serve you beautifully.

Others may have made sense at one point, but aren't necessarily helping you anymore.

That doesn't mean you're broken or that you lack willpower.

It means your brain learned a response.

And once you can recognize the pattern, you have an opportunity to respond differently. 🩷

What’s something you find yourself doing automatically, even when you know you'd rather respond differently?

Ever sit down with the intention to focus, only to realize your mind is already ten steps ahead?

You're not alone.

Sometimes what looks like a lack of focus is simply an overloaded mind trying to process too much at once.

Creating a little space can change how you feel, think, and respond.🩷

What tends to steal your focus the most?

Sometimes the shift you need isn't about trying harder.
It's about letting go of what you've been carrying for so long that it started to feel normal.
You don't have to have everything figured out before you reach out. You don't have to know exactly what's keeping you stuck.
Sometimes, you just need a safe place to start exploring what's underneath it all.
If you've been thinking about making a change and wondering whether hypnosis could help, I'd love to connect and have a conversation.
No pressure. No expectations. Just a chance to see if it feels like the right next step for you.
Ready when you are. 💗
