The Occupational Therapists at the Niagara Family Health Teams and Community Health Centres have partnered to offer FREE information sessions and consultations for people who have walking/mobility concerns. The next one will be held on September 16 from 1:00-3:00pm at the Niagara Falls Public Library, 4848 Victoria Ave, Niagara Falls. Attention Patients of Fonthill Family Medical Centre, Rose City Medical Associates, and Welland McMaster Family Health Team:

Please be advised that our building is currently running on a generator and will continue to be on it for the next two weeks. As a result, our power, phone, and internet connections are all subject to occasional disruption that is beyond our control. This may result in dropped phone calls, problems getting through on the phones, and receptionists being unable to book appointments on occasion due to the computer system not being active. We appreciate your patience and understanding at this time.

We are currently experiencing a power failure, so the Welland McMaster Family Health Team is closed for today. Rose City Medical and Fonthill Medical will not be running their After Hours Clinics tonight. We are unable to access our schedules to call patients to reschedule appointments, and we apologise for this unforeseen inconvenience.

Summer is a great time to see what your community has to offer. Before getting in the car, check if you can walk, wheel or bike to:
- A neighbourhood park
- A store
- Outdoor basketball/tennis courts, or soccer/baseball fields
- The library

Thinking about quitting smoking? We can help!
Patients who wish to reduce or abstain from ni****ne-based products such as ci******es or electronic vapes can sign up for our smoking cessation program.

What the program offers:
- Ongoing one-on-one appointments with a pharmacist for counselling, for up to 1 year
- Assistance in developing a plan for reducing or quitting
- Up to 26 weeks of free ni****ne replacement products (NRT) such as patches, gum, lozenges, or inhalers, if appropriate, provided through the STOP (Smoking Treatment for Ontario Patients) program in partnership with CAMH (Centre for Addiction and Mental Health)
- Alternatively, we can also work with your doctor to see if prescription products such as Champix or Zyban are right for you

Who is eligible?
- 18 years or older
- All patients of the Welland McMaster Family Health Team
- Ready and motivated to quit within 30 days
