Presented by the Antique & Classic Car Club of Canada – Durham Region, this year’s show will feature a fantastic collection of vintage and classic vehicles. Stroll through the displays, chat with car enthusiasts, and enjoy a fun-filled day celebrating automotive history.

This year’s event is part of our Father’s Day Weekend celebrations and will feature a 50s Rock ‘n’ Roll theme! 🎸🕺

🎳 What a great week on the greens!

Over the past week, our residents had the opportunity to enjoy not one, but two outings to the wonderful Whitby Lawn Bowling Club. Residents enjoyed friendly competition, fresh air, and plenty of laughs while trying their hand at lawn bowling.

These outings are always a highlight, providing a great chance to stay active, socialize, and enjoy all that our community has to offer. A big thank you to everyone at Whitby Lawn Bowling for welcoming us and helping make both visits such a success!

We are already looking forward to our next trip! ☀️💙

🇮🇹❤️ What a wonderful Italian Republic Day celebration!

Residents enjoyed a delicious Italian-themed lunch prepared by Chef Mei, followed by an afternoon of fun on the patio featuring games, laughter, and sweet ice cream treats. 🍦☀️

To complete our Italian-inspired day, residents raised a glass with refreshing Aperol and Limoncello Spritz cocktails and mocktails while enjoying the beautiful weather and great company. 🍹🇮🇹

Today was our Alzheimer’s Walk at Lakeridge in support of the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region

Throughout the month, our community rallied behind this important cause through a variety of fundraising events, including Toonie Bingo, our Shine & Support Walker Wash, Happy Hour fundraisers, 50/50 draw and generous donations from residents, families, and team members.

We are proud to share that together we raised $1,326

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, donated, volunteered, and cheered us on. Your generosity and support help make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many.

On Friday, May 29th at 10:30 a.m., we will be hosting our Alzheimer Walk here at Lakeridge Heights Retirement Residence in support of the.

👑☕ We celebrated Victoria Day in royal style at our Victoria Day Royal Tea Party! 🇨🇦✨

Residents enjoyed an elegant afternoon filled with tea, sweet treats, laughter, and wonderful company. It was truly a tea-riffic celebration fit for royalty! 👒🫖🍰

Happy International Nurses Day! 💙

Our Blossom residents spent time putting together thoughtful goodie bags for all of our incredible nurses as a small thank you for everything they do for our community.🎁✨

A special highlight was having Hazel, a retired nurse, help hand out the goodie bags to our nursing team. It was a heartfelt full-circle moment and a wonderful way to celebrate the compassion, dedication, and care that nurses bring to our community each and every day. 👩‍⚕️💐

Thank you to all of our amazing nurses for the care, comfort, and kindness you provide to our residents and families. We appreciate you more than words can say!

Mamma Mia Mother’s Day festivities are in full swing! 💐✨

This morning our residents enjoyed a relaxing spa experience complete with face masks, mimosas, and manicures 💅🥂

In the afternoon, everyone was dancing and singing along as we welcomed an incredible ABBA duo performance to keep the celebration going! 🎶🕺💃 JV Music For Seniors
