June is PTSD Awareness Month, and it’s time to change the narrative. 🧠💚

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder isn’t a choice, a reflection of character, or a sign of weakness. It's a deeply wired, physical and psychological response to trauma. But so many people fight this battle in total silence because of the heavy weight of stigma.

We can't fix what we refuse to talk about. Supporting mental health starts with changing how we listen. It means replacing judgment with curiosity, and assumptions with empathy.

Let’s commit to:

✅ Educating ourselves on what PTSD actually looks like. (It's not just what you see in the movies).

✅ Checking in on our friends, even the ones who seem "strong."

✅ Normalizing therapy and mental health support as essential healthcare.

To anyone carrying the heavy weight of trauma: Your experience is valid, your feelings are real, and you are incredibly resilient. You don’t have to carry it all alone. 🫂

Let’s break the stigma, foster real understanding, and build a world where asking for help is seen as the ultimate act of courage.
