Car Seat Connections

08/26/2026

I have a sudden influx of followers, so I thought I'd confirm that I am still doing seats. Still alive, still love helping all of you! I'm not active on social media much, but if this page is up, I'm still around. Don't hesitate to send me a message!

**RECALL NOTICE**

Diono Canada has issued a recall concerning certain models of their seats. When installed rear-facing with UAS, they do not meet our crash test standards. You can contact them to receive a fix for this, but in the meantime they recommend installing with the seatbelt to avoid this issue. If you are not using the seat rear-facing and installed with UAS, you do not need to worry about this warning, but you can contact them to receive the fix just in case you do need to use it that way. Full details can be found on the Transport Canada website: https://wwwapps.tc.gc.ca/Saf-Sec-Sur/7/VRDB-BDRV/search-recherche/detail.aspx?lang=eng&rn=2024718&fbclid=IwY2xjawHBKuRleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHRhOUyvzu3xVhhdCMbSAHy7za6KX0E4WF-jSPTs5goWyV7CIc_vQjJ0U3w_aem_gbIXOZ43sXYJRYbanT0rCA

Hey everyone! I'm still alive, still doing car seats! Thankfully my car seat game is better than my social media game. I thought this was a great message to share.

**RECALL ALERT**

I have seen a few of these seats recently and those are done correctly (or using the UAS and this doesn't come into play), but if you have this seat installed with the seatbelt, please make sure that the seatbelt is locked properly! If you are unsure how to do that, please reach out for help.

2020-2022 Diono Radian 3RXT owners - On certain child car seats, the owner's manual doesn't provide clear instructions for how to lock the vehicle seat belt when using the seat in a rear-facing position.

If you registered your seat then Diono will contact you directly by email and mail to let you know of this manual issue. Details and a link to download an updated copy of the manual here:

Issue: On certain child car seats, the owner's manual doesn't provide clear instructions for how to lock the vehicle seat belt when using the seat in a rear-facing position. Canadian regulations require companies to provide this information in every child seat manual.
