I’m raising money for a cause very close to my heart. ❤️
As some of you know, my dear Papa passed away on June 6 at 89 years old.
My Dad lived with heart disease for more than 40 years. He had his first heart attack at just 47, followed by quadruple bypass surgery.
And then he reset his life.
He walked. Every single day.
Over the years I gave him strength programs, and he was quite simply the best client I ever had. He did everything I gave him—never complained, never made excuses. He just got it done.
He was the epitome of resilience, discipline and self-motivation.
He would proudly send me his Fitbit badges. He had his Schwinn Airdyne bike in the garage. And if you lived around Ocean Park, there’s a good chance you spotted him out walking in his “uniform”— yellow jacket & usually wearing the Blue Jays hat I gave him. 💙
I have talked about my Papa proudly for years because he truly lived what I believe so deeply:
Keep moving.
Keep showing up.
Keep choosing your health.
Keep going.
He was incredible.
He was my heart.
So this walk means more to me than simply raising money.
Every step is for the man who showed me what resilience really looks like.
For you, Papa. I walk proud. ❤️
