Today, our high school volunteers from Kennedy Collegiate Institute and F.J. Brennan Catholic High School completed their 40 hours community involvement volunteer work at Berkshire Care Centre. They were provided essential training, brief introduction to LTC and hands-on helping in the Recreation Department. At Berkshire, we provide our youth a glimpse of what they can be in the future if they choose to be in the human service professions.

Our residents love their Zumba classes! We have a certified Zumba instructor who provides cardio exercises through high-energy dance moves that our residents enjoy. The seated Zumba dance moves are designed to be safe exercises promoting core strengthening and endurance. Join us every 1st and 4th Saturday of the month at 10:30 AM.
