Happy Thanksgiving weekend!! As always, I am thankful that my clients allow me to be apart of their journey. 🦃🧡

Thanksgiving has looked different for me over the years. Many were spent camping as a kid, some were spent alone with Swiss chalet takeout. Others I was blessed to be invited to a friend’s family gathering. Some of my favourites were at the cottage.

No matter what your weekend looks like or who you are with…take time to appreciate where you’re at and know that you are one of the people someone else is thankful for.

Excited to announce that I am now an approved clinical supervisor and practicum site for Yorkville University students! It has been a journey the past 6 years since I graduated from the same program and I cannot wait to help foster new up and coming therapists 🙏🏻

Truth & Reconciliation 🧡
Today, we pause to listen, remember, and honour the experiences of Indigenous Peoples.
As a psychotherapist, I’m reminded that healing begins with being heard, believed, and witnessed. Truth matters. So does creating space for grief, connection, and healing; including the impact of intergenerational trauma.
May we approach today with open hearts, humility, and a willingness to keep learning.

I’ll be away from the office starting tomorrow to go and marry my best friend 🤍 Thank you to all my clients for the well wishes! Looking forward to celebrating this change in my life but I’ll be back next week 🙏🏻
