CPAP is the most common treatment for sleep apnea, but it's not the only option. For some patients, BiPAP is a better fit.

The key difference? BiPAP uses two pressure settings, one for inhaling and one for exhaling. This makes breathing feel more natural, especially for patients who struggle with the constant pressure of CPAP or who have more complex respiratory needs.

Conditions like COPD, neuromuscular disorders, and certain types of sleep apnea often respond better to BiPAP therapy.

Not sure which is right for you? Come talk to our team.

Yes, you can fly with a portable oxygen concentrator. But there are a few things to know before you head to the airport. ✈️

First, your POC must be FAA-approved, most modern units including the Inogen One G4 and G5 qualify. Second, you'll need written documentation from your physician outlining your diagnosis and required flow settings. Third, battery life matters, airlines require enough battery for 150% of total flight time.

Book early, notify your airline in advance, and talk to our team about making sure your unit and documentation are ready.

Summer always brings this question to our clinic: "Can I still swim or do water activities now that I'm on oxygen therapy?"
And the honest answer is, it depends, but there's more flexibility than most people expect.

Aqua therapy in particular has shown real benefits for people with COPD and other respiratory conditions. The water's buoyancy reduces strain on the body while the activity still strengthens the lungs and heart.

The key is knowing what your body can handle and how to manage your equipment safely around water.
Have you tried any water activities since starting oxygen therapy? We'd love to hear your experience.

For patients on nocturnal oxygen therapy, days look completely normal.

No tanks to carry. No cannula during errands, meals, or social time. Just a regular day, and then a restful, supported sleep.

The equipment is quiet, compact, and designed to stay out of the way. Most patients keep their concentrator on the nightstand and barely notice it after the first few nights.

Connect with us today if you think oxygen therapy at night may be a good fit for you. πŸ’™

A few days ago, our team, alongside colleagues from other InspiAIR locations, had the privilege of attending and exhibiting at the HPCO Annual Conference 2026.

The Hospice Palliative Care Ontario conference brings together healthcare professionals, clinicians, and community organizations from across the province to share knowledge, spark conversations, and strengthen the network of care for patients and families facing serious illness.

It was an incredible opportunity to connect with palliative care teams, share what we do at InspiAIR, and be part of a community that is deeply committed to improving quality of life for patients, which is exactly what drives us every day.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth. We look forward to continuing these important conversations. πŸ’™
