Dr. Denis Marier is currently looking for the right practitioner to share his office space with on a part-time basis.

His office is furnished with a desk and comfortable chairs, making it a great fit for services such as:

Coaching or counselling
Psychotherapy or social work
Hypnotherapy
Nutrition or wellness consulting
Spiritual guidance or intuitive readings
Esthetics or holistic skincare services
Other holistic and supportive services

We also currently have a separate shared treatment room available for part-time rental. This space is set up for services that use a treatment table, such as massage therapy, Reiki, energy work and other hands-on or relaxation-based modalities.

Mastering the Soul offers office spaces to independent practitioners where they can grow their own practice while being part of a supportive community.

New Home Office!

I’ve moved around a lot in my life, especially the last 24 years since I first became a registered Naturopathic Doctor in Ontario (Nov. 14, 2000). But my hometown is Windsor, ON. And I’m finally putting down some roots here after first moving away at 18 years-old.

I’ve bought a beautiful little home in Riverside, blocks from where I was born and raised - my postal code even has the same first four of six characters!

With so much moving around, it’s been a challenge to build a steady practice. But with the advent of tele-medicine, and practice hubs where I can visit a city in Ontario and rent office space for a few days, the possibilities have changed significantly, ensuring continuity of care.

I began my career studying Mind/Body Medicine and Positive Psychology through Harvard University Medical School’s continuing education curriculum. I’ve always had an interest in getting to the root cause of stress-related disorders (which contributes to close to 90% of medical diagnoses).

I’ve furthered my skill set with on-going continuing education in trauma-informed case taking, Compassionate Inquiry with Dr. Gabor Maté and Dr. Sat Dharam Kaur, ND, as well as a full year’s training in Inherited/Intergenerational Family Trauma and Family Constellations work.

Combining these therapeutic skills with traditional naturopathic modalities such as acupuncture, homeopathy, botanical medicine, nutritional counselling, and bodywork/energywork, I help my patients re-discover their own inherent healing abilities, gently guiding them on their paths towards mental/emotional/physical/spiritual/energetic health (yes, I’m adding a “5th pillar” of health into the mix!)

With grace and grit, my dad took his last breath on Earth today. Thank you Dad for being the perfect father I needed to help shape me into the man I am today - someone that you told me you were proud of. I love you, Dad. I have been involved with the Muskoka Male Survivors Network for three years now, working with professionals from around the province who work with male survivors of childhood grooming and sexual abuse. MMSN has recently changed its name to the Fireweed Network, and after two years of planning and training, we are offering our first weekend residential program for male and male-identified survivors May 3-5, 2024 at Spirit Point Wilderness Retreat Centre in Trout Creek, ON (halfway between Huntsville and North Bay, off Hwy #11).
