💙 Braemar BPSO Team in Toronto! 💙

What a great couple of days at the BPSO Symposium in Toronto on September 24 & 25!

Taylor and Angela from our Braemar team had a wonderful time learning, connecting with other BPSO teams, sharing ideas, and bringing new inspiration back home. We were also excited to hear from Doris Grinspun, CEO of RNAO and a driving force behind the BPSO program. It was wonderful to learn from her and hear about the continued impact of BPSO across Ontario.

We’re proud to represent Braemar and excited to bring what we learned back to our residents, families, and team! 🌱💙

Thank you to everyone that participated in Braemar’s 2026 LTC Community Engagement Day held on September 11th! Friday’s event included a tour of our home, meet and greet with residents, staff, and family members, and meaningful dialogue about long term care needs in our community.

Braemar was pleased to welcome various community representatives including Lisa Thompson (MPP Huron-Bruce), Ben Lobb (MP Huron-Bruce), Nelson Santos (North Huron CAO), Paul Heffer (North Huron Reeve), Mitch Wright (North Huron Councilor), Debbie Ritchie (North Huron Election Candidate), Esther Millar (Listowel Wingham Hospital Alliance President and CEO), Judy Irwin (OLTCA Representative), and Braemar Family Council members Linda Hall and Evelyn Rich.

Recognition was also given to individuals within our Braemar community who have made a special impact! Thank you for your contributions!

The Saugeen Maitland Canadian Motorcycle Cruisers will be stopping at Braemar from 12:30-1:15 on Saturday, September 19th during their Annual Ride for Dementia!

There is lots of time to donate to Alzheimer Societies throughout Ontario.
Our Saugeen Maitland ride is this Saturday Sept 19th, supporting Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce and Alzheimer Society Huron Perth

Donate today and help CMC riders achieve and exceed their $10k goal.

Any member of the public can donate to any existing chapter listed as a Team, or a specific Rider by name.
